The theory test is in 2 parts, multiple choice questions and hazard perception. You need to pass both parts to pass the test. Once you have passed the theory test you can then apply to take your practical driving test. The passmark is 43 out of 50 for the multiple choice part, and 44 out of 75 for the hazard perception part.
